TBCON 2001 Resources
TBCON 2001 rocked with ToolBook Developers from around the world. 2001 saw two
conferences, one in Cheltenham, UK and one in Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA.
Both events featured presentations from many of the world's best ToolBook
developers including: Chris Ayers, Tim Barham, Chris Bell, Virginia Bender,
Lance Campbell, Mike Cline, Denny Dedmore, Bob Earp, Dmitry Esikov, Andrew
Gould, Fred Grissom, Roger Guay, John Hall, Tom Hall, Brian Hirst, Ross
Hopkins, Bill Hurley, Jack Jensen, Gregory Johnson, Joan Kane, Lee Karns, Dan
Lim, Penny Mattern, Simon Price, Mauro Rech, Jeff Rhodes, Jack Siegel, Greg
Smith, O. Starnes, and Martha Weller.
Two great socials featured excellent food, beer, and wine. In Europe, we played
Snooker and sang songs accompanied by Tim Barham, Tomas Lund, and Dominque
Jalu. In the U.S., Dave Frisk was back this year for Monday's night's social,
wowing the crowd with his guitar skills. Tuesday was Mexican night.

ToolBook application providing web-based training on an in-house software
application. This compelling ToolBook application uses a mixture of show,
practice, and simulation to augment instructor-led training on an important
military software application.

Mauro's work is captivating and innovative both in its use of graphics and
interactions providing the learner a very captivating and engaging learning
experience.

Hack-Ack
The HackAck, a new contest at the USA event, where participants created a
ToolBook application along the theme of 2001: A Space Odyssey and presented
their creations at Tuesday night's social.

First of all, it was awesome...lots to do and some really great sessions!!! The socials were really really fun, the lodgings were better this year (at least for me anyway in those new apartments), and there was lots to be learned!
